 We're all guilty. In order to keep up with a fast fashion trend, we have become the worst polluters of our environment. More than 80% of our unwanted clothing and textiles in North America end up in landfills. That’s more than 20 billion pounds of clothing every year, where most of us are unaware of the environmental cost of this so called "Fast Fashion".

In an effort to reduce this environmental footprint, different initiatives have been introduced in the last decade that encourage all parties involved from manufacturers to end consumers to take action. A culture of conservation, recycling, up-cycling, and re-furbishing helps divert some of this waste from our landfills.

Conservation starts at home. Donation of unwanted items to charities or recycling organizations helps keep waste away from landfills and injects it back into a cycle in which it can be re-used or re-purposed, while creating jobs and a revenue stream for charities.
